NOTE: If you currently have AutoCAD open, close it temporarily while you make the following changes:

1. Click Start->Programs->TIFF Image Printer 7.0->Properties to access the properties.
2. On the Layout tab, set the orientation to Landscape. Then, click the Advanced button. Set the Paper size to D, E, or whatever size you most commonly use in your drawings. Click OK to return to the Layout tab.
3. On the Image Options tab, set Rotate portrait pages to 90 degrees counter-clockwise (This setting is necessary because AutoCAD automatically rotates all Landscape pages to Portrait orientation).
4. Click OK to close the properties.

AutoCAD to a single multi-paged TIFF

1. Start AutoCAD. Open any DWG drawing.
2. Select one or more tabs of your drawing and then choose File - Plot. Set TIFF Image Printer 7.0 as the Plot Device. On the Plot Settings tab, verify that the paper size is correct. Click OK.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT change the Properties of the TIFF Image Printer 7.0 or create a .pc3 file within AutoCAD. Refer instead to the instructions at the top of this page.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT check "Plot to file" or you will get the wrong results. File creation is handled by TIFF Image Printer 7.0.

NOTE: AutoCAD may issue a warning that the paper size in the Layout is not supported by the selected plot device. You can safely disregard this warning.

3. The Save As Image dialog box appears to allow you to choose where to save the TIFF file. Choose a location, enter the filename, click Save and you’re done!

Combine files or combine documents into a single multi-paged TIFF

1. Open the first file and print your document to the TIFF Image Printer 7.0.
2. The Save As Image dialog box appears to allow you to choose where to save the TIFF file. Choose a location, enter the filename for your TIFF file and click Save.

3. Open the next file and print that document to the TIFF Image Printer 7.0.
4. The Save As Image dialog box will appear again. Choose the filename you previously entered, and check the Append to existing file or sequence option.

5. The pages in the second file are added to the end of the TIFF file first created in Step 2 above.
6. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the remaining documents.
