These are frequently asked questions about sales of PEERNET products.

How can I purchase PEERNET products?

All products can be purchased online through PEERNET secure store. PEERNET is fully integrated with PayPal so customers can pay directly via their PayPal accounts. PEERNET also accepts Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Discovery, Purchase Orders (from North America) and Wire Transfers.

We ask that you set up an account and place your order online whether paying via credit card or purchase order. Your account will always retain your sale information including your serial number and download link.

Delivery is done via email using the address associated to your online account. The delivery time is as follows:

  • PayPal – immediately when transaction has been approved.
  • Credit Card Payment – immediately when transaction has been approved.
  • Purchase Order – upon receipt of a valid purchase order, order is completed and invoice emailed separately.
  • Bank or Wire Transfer – upon receipt of payment order is completed.

Note: At times email confirmations are retained by spam filters. Please check your spam filter if you do not receive our confirmation within 15 minutes. The delivered serial number can also be obtained from your online account as follows:

  1. Please go to Login
  2. Under “Returning Customer”, please sign in using your email address and password.
  3. Select – “My Account”
  4. Select – “View the Products I have registered or purchased” and your purchase will be listed, including the serial number and download software link.

What license do I need?

For each product, within the Buy/Pricing webpage there is a chart or description of the different licenses available. Full pricing can also be obtained from these same pages.

Why do I need “On-Going Licensing and Support Subscription” when I don’t need support?

PEERNET On-Going Licensing and Support Subscription is a lot more than just support.

It allows you to request a license adjustment so you can move your software to another computer or re-license your old computer if it has become unlicensed.

Continuous access to your software via your online account including all updates and upgrades while you have an active subscription.

Priority technical support either via email or telephone whichever you prefer.

Where can I obtain the Software Download link for the product I purchased?

The software download link for your purchased product is available in your online account.

Please sign into your online account. (If you don’t recall the password one can be requested by clicking “Password Forgotten? Click Here” from the login screen)

All of your products will be listed in order of purchase date. To the right of the serial number the applicable software download link will be provided.

If the software download link is not showing, you will be required to either upgrade to the latest version of the product or purchase On-Going Support in order to get access to the latest software update. There will be buttons available below your product serial to perform one of these two actions.

Can I add licenses to existing serial number?

Yes, you can add licenses to an existing serial number.

A serial number can have endless number of licenses, and traditionally the more licenses you have the price per license decreases so it is beneficial to add to an existing serial number versus purchasing a license with a new serial number.

The steps are as follows:

  1. Please login into your online account. (If you don’t recall the password one can be requested from the login screen)
  2. Your serial number will be listed and the option to purchase licenses will be presented.

  3. Select the applicable “Purchase  Additional Activations”

    Note: The On-Going Licensing and Support subscription of the existing licenses will also apply to the new licenses. Therefore if an On-Going Licensing and Support subscription exists the cost of the remaining period will be added for the new licenses. If there is no On-Going Licensing and Support subscription there will not be an option to add it.

  4. Enter the quantity you wish to add to the existing serial number.

    Note: If you change the quantity amount, you need to click the Update button before clicking the Checkout button.

  5. Select – “Checkout”

Proceed through the store upon the completion of your order the number of licenses purchased will be added to your serial number.

To confirm your purchase online Select “My Account” and “View the products I have registered or purchased” to confirm total number of licenses and to obtain the software download link.

You will also receive an email confirmation that will contain a summary of financial details, the serial number and the download link.

Is there a discount to upgrade to a new version?

If you are a registered owner of an earlier version we provide an upgrade discount when upgrading to the new version of the same product. Traditionally the discount rates are as follows:

For TIFF Image Printer, PDF Image Printer and Raster Image Printer:

  • One version from current (10.0 to 11.0) – 25% discount
  • Two versions from current (9.0 to 11.0) – 15% discount
  • Three versions from current (8.0 to 11.0) – 10% discount

For File Conversion Center:

  • One versions from current (5.0 to 6.0) – 25% discount
  • Two versions from current (4.0 to 6.0) – 15% discount

For PDF Creator Plus:

  • One version from current (6.0 to 7.0) – 15% discount
  • Two versions from current (5.0 to 7.0) – 10% discount

For Convert To PDF:

  • One version from current (3.0 to 4.0) – 15% discount
  • Two versions from current (2.0 to 4.0) – 10% discount

Note: These rates apply to the software cost and not the cost of the On-Going Licensing and Support subscriptions.

Upgrade purchases can be done through the PEERNET Online Store. Delivery is made as soon as the order is completed allowing you to be up and running on the new version almost immediately.

  1. Please go to Login and sign into your PEERNET account. (If you don’t recall the password one can be requested from the login screen)
  2. Your serial number will be listed and the option to Upgrade will be presented. Note: The Upgrade button only shows if your current serial number is no more than 3 versions back from the current release. (ie. current release: TIFF Image Printer 11.0 and Upgrade only available for versions 8, 9 and 10)
  3. Select the applicable “Upgrade to …” button. Note: The store will default to the same number of licenses as you previously had. You can decrease this amount if your requirement is now less. You can, however, only use the upgrade feature one time. If you change the quantity amount, you need to click the Update button before clicking the Checkout button.
  4. Select – “Checkout”.

Proceed through the store. Upon the completion of your order your serial number will be added to your list of serial numbers along with the download software link, so you can obtain it online immediately. Return to “My Account”.

You will also receive an email confirmation that will contain a summary of financial details, the serial number and the download link.

How can I obtain a Quote so I can request or prepare a Purchase Order?

Please proceed to placing your order, when you select Checkout, the store will default to the payment option Credit Card, please change it to Purchase Order, and then proceed through the checkout process.

A pending order will be setup and you will receive an email confirming your pending order along with the financial details. If a formal Quote is required either in PDF format or to print, please return to your online account, select “My Account” and within the “My Orders” section, click “View my pending orders I have made and obtain a quote in PDF format or print.” to access your Quote.

When PEERNET receives your purchase order, we will complete your order and invoice you accordingly.

My Purchasing Department needs a W9 so that we can purchase your software?

PEERNET is Canadian Company so if a W9 is required PEERNET will supply a W-8BEN – Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding.

Please sent a request to PEERNET Sales peernet@peernet.com and we will provide you a W-8BEN.

Can more than one person have access to an online account?

If you are the person responsible for your PEERNET software and the registered owner of your company’s online account, you can permit others to have access to the product’s download link, allow purchases or both.

The other individuals that you want to have access, need to open an online account on the PEERNET website if they don’t have one already.

From “My Account Information” within the “My Product” section, select “View Products I have permitted to be accessed from another account”.

On this page you can add email address and select “Allow Download” or “Allow Purchases” or both.

Adding Linked Owner for Access to Serial Number

Allow Download – the linked user will just have access to the Download, they will not be able to add more software, purchase or process free upgrades, or purchase more licenses.

Allow Purchases – this would be generally assigned to an individual in Accounting, they’ll be able to do any financial transaction for the applicable serial number. Renew On-Going Licensing and Support subscriptions, Purchase additional Licenses and or Purchase an Upgrade. Keep in mind the order will remain in the online account that process the order.

In all cases the Registered Online account and any Linked Online accounts will all receive any notifications with respect to On-Going Licensing and Support renewals as well as Product Notifications relating to updates and or upgrades.

I have an On-Going Licensing and Support Subscription, where is my upgrade?

If you have an active On-Going Licensing and Support subscription and an update or upgrade is released, the updated software or upgrade will be made available via the customers online account .

For updates the software download in your online account is updated immediately at the time of release.

For upgrades, you must request the upgrade. This can be done via your online account, there will be an option to select your free upgrade which when completed will be delivered to your online account (both serial number and software download).

How do I obtain an invoice for a completed order?

All invoices can be obtained directly from your online account for any of your purchases.

The steps to obtain your invoice are as follows:

  1. Please sign into your online account. (If you don’t recall the password one can be requested from the login screen)
  2. Select “My Account
  3. Select – “View the Orders I have made and print my invoice
  4. Your orders will be listed and the option to select the applicable invoice will be presented.

Can I return PEERNET Software?

All PEERNET software has a free 30 day fully functional trial. We highly recommend that purchasers first try out the products by downloading and installing.  All evaluation products are completely functional with the exception of evaluation watermarks that are placed on the outputs. When evaluating the product, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team at support@peernet.com with any questions you may have, we are here to help.

If a return is required, returns can be requested within 30 day of purchase date. The return will be evaluated and an answer provided within 3 business days of the request.

How do I stop receiving Product Notifications?

All online account holders can control the delivery of Product Notifications through their online accounts.

Within the “E-Mail Notifications” section, click “View or change my product notification list”.

By deselecting a product, the Product Notifications will stop. You also have the option of adding products even if you are not an owner.

PEERNET does not send out an abundance of Product Notifications, we only want to be in-touch when we have something important to share. Therefore we only send out a Product Notification when we have released a new update or upgrade and often it is when there is more than one.
