The following conventions used in this User Guide describe keys and key combinations:

Key names appear in capital letters and are referred to by their names only, without the word ‘key’. For example, ‘Press ENTER’ instructs you to press the key labeled ‘ENTER’, while ‘Press CTRL’ instructs you to press the key labeled ‘CTRL’.

Two key names on either side of a plus sign (+) instructs you to press and hold the first key while you press the second key. For example, ‘Press CTRL + C’ instructs you to press and hold the key labeled ‘CTRL’ and then press the key labeled ‘C’.

Keyboard shortcuts are available for many application commands; see the Command Reference at the end of this chapter for a complete listing of the available keyboard commands.
