There are two types of paper stocks that you can add to your Paper Stocks list: Custom paper stocks and Avery paper stocks.

 

Adding a Custom stock puts a blank stock onto your list whose size, margins, and orientation values you can then customize to meet your printing requirements. Organizations requiring unique paper sizes should use the Custom option to create the exact stock they need.

 

To add a custom paper stock to your project file

 

1.Right-click the Paper Stocks item.

2.Click Add Custom Stock.

 

Adding an Avery stock allows you to select a predefined Avery stock from the extensive drop-down list of available types. Most standard stocks can be found in this list.

 

To add an Avery paper stock to your project file

 

1.Right-click the Paper Stocks item.

2.Click Add Avery Stock.

3.Select a label type from the Avery Label drop-down list.

4.Click OK.

 

To view the properties of a paper stock

 

1.Click the icon_expand to expand the Paper Stocks item.

2.Click a paper stock. The paper stock’s properties will appear in the Properties Pane.

 

To edit the properties of a paper stock

 

1.Click the icon_expand to expand the Paper Stocks item.

2.Right-click the paper stock you want to edit, and click Edit Stock.

3.Adjust the paper stock’s properties as required.

 

To rename a paper stock

 

1.Click the icon_expand to expand the Paper Stocks item.

2.Right-click the paper stock you want to rename, and click Rename Stock.

3.Type a new name for the paper stock in the edit field.

 

To duplicate a paper stock

 

1.Click the icon_expand to expand the Paper Stocks item.

2.Right-click the paper stock you want to duplicate, and click Duplicate Stock. A copy of the paper stock appears in the list.

 

To delete a paper stock from your project file

 

1.Click the icon_expand to expand the Paper Stocks item.

2.Right-click the paper stock you want to delete, and click Delete Stock.

3.In the Delete Confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
