In some cases a user account with limited privileges will need to be granted the Manage Printers permissions privilege. File Conversion Center's internal printer component, which is used to convert documents, requires that the user be able to pause, resume and delete jobs on the printer.

This permission is set through the Printers folder, which is called Devices and Printers folder on Windows 7 and later, or Printers and Faxes folder on Windows Vista and earlier.

1.Open the Devices and Printers folder by typing Printers into the Search field in the Start menu on Windows Vista and above. If you are on XP, go to Start – Programs – Printers to open the Printers and Faxes folder.

2.Right-click on the PEERNET File Conversion Center printer and select Properties from the context menu.

3.Click on the Security tab, and then click the Add... button to show the dialog listing all available users. Add the required user account to the users list for the printer.

4.Highlight the user in the list and check the checkbox beside Allow to change their Manage Printer permissions.
