Resample to Resolution
For resolutions not offered by the driver or through fax mode, the output TIFF images can be resampled to any resolution required.
Black and White
TIFF images can be produced in pure black and white.
Color
TIFF images can be produced in true color (24-bit) mode.
The TIFF Image Printer provides automatic color counting and color reduction options to fine tune and optimize how
these images are stored.
Standard Paper Size
TIFF Image Printer supports all standard paper sizes and any user-defined forms created through Server Properties in the Printers and Faxes window.
Image Processing – Copy To![]()
Use the Copy To feature with its image scaling and alignment options to place the image onto a new page of a different size.
Custom Paper
Control the hardware margins and paper size of the driver.
Pre-set Output Location
Pre-set the file name and/or default output location, or eliminate prompts altogether to save time.

Customize Default Settings
Edit the configuration file (PNETIF7C.ini) to customize default settings and hide unnecessary options. Use the same configuration file throughout the office to ensure all users have the same setup.
Automatic Virus-Free E-mail Distribution
The TIFF Image Printer 8.0 supports the most popular email clients, making it ideal for enterprises of any size.
The following list shows some of the common email clients that have been tested with TIFF Image Printer 8.0

Built-in support lets you communicate directly with any SMTP-enabled mail server. This feature provides the ability to send mail even if you do not have a mail client program on your computer. Just enable the SMTP email option of the driver.
Launch any email client to automatically attach and send virus-free output files. Even if the original documents or computer have a virus, the images you create will not.

Thread-safe Batch Printing and Job Synchronization
Ensure thread-safe batch printing by synchronizing your process with events signaled at key points in the printing process.
Run Commands for Extended Processing Automation
Use Run commands to launch any external application at the start of a print job, at the end of a print job, after each file is created, and/or after each page. You can also use the run commands to signal Win32 event objects or call functions in your own DLLs. Use variables to retrieve runtime information about a print job and pass them as parameters to your functions.
Customizable Error Box Display
Choose to have regular error prompts, timed error prompts, or no error prompts.
Error Logging and Tracing
If required, error logging can be set to log to a specified file location, or a more detailed trace file can be created.

Most print properties and context-sensitive online help automatically adapt to the native language of your operating system: English, French, German, Japanese, or any other language. No translation is required.
Easy Install (and Uninstall)
Just run the setup program and your installation is complete. TIFF Image Printer 8.0 comes as a self-installing executable file. The uninstall feature makes it easy to remove the driver as well.
Share the Printer
Share the printer across a network simply by enabling printer sharing in the properties. Connect to the printer from any another computer running any Windows operating system. Use Network Neighborhood or the Add Printer Wizard to find and connect to the printer. No special installation script is needed, but each client computer is required to have a license.
SMS Integration
Push the installation to multiple computers seamlessly using Microsoft’s Software Management System (SMS). Automate licensing of the driver during installation.

Text Extraction Options![]()
Extract the text information of your documents to store with the created image for searching and archival purposes. Text extraction supports ANSII, UTF-16 and UTF-8 format text files, as well as layout options to determine the how much of the formatting of the text is maintained.
Watermark Options
Use an image file (*.bmp, *.jpg. *.png, or *.tif) as the watermark in a document. Tile a watermark, center it, or stretch it to fit the page, and adjust its brightness. Separate images for portrait and landscape pages can be chosen.
Append to Multi-page Files
Build a multi-page file gradually by appending pages to an existing file whenever the need arises.
Fax-compliant File Formats![]()
TIFF Image Printer 8.0 can operate in Fax mode to create Profile F, Profile S and Profile C faxable TIFF formats compatible with the latest faxing hardware and software. Legacy fax format support is also provided.
